Your refrigerator is not working properly, is it? Now it is time to find out what’s wrong. It is impossible to get a device to work well without proper diagnostics. The table below shows possible causes of breakdowns and ways of dealing with them.

Piled up cubes in the storage bin cause the icemaker to shut off.•Level cubes by hand.
Automatic icemaker does not work (on some models)Icemaker is on but the water supply to the refrigerator has not been connected.• Turn the icemaker off. On power switch models, set the power switch to the 0 (off) position. On feeler arm models, move the feeler arm to the STOP (up) position. Keeping it on will damage the water valve.
